Ed Sheeran's midnight recording with Hilary Duff
Hilary Duff usually goes to bed at 9pm, but had to meet Ed Sheeran to record a song at midnight because of his busy schedule.
Ed Sheeran made Hilary Duff record in the middle of the night.
The 'A Team' hitmaker has penned a track called 'Tattoo' for the former 'Lizzie McGuire' star's next album but he could only fit the 26-year-old beauty - who has two-year-old son Luca with estranged husband Mike Comrie - into his busy schedule hours after her usual bedtime.
Hilary explained: ""He had been doing a promo day in L.A. and he's like, 'I know you have a two year old, but could you please come and record at midnight?'
"I was like, 'I've already been in bed for three hours by midnight on most nights,' but of course for him I did, and I'm such a huge fan -he's so talented."
It took the pair just two hours to record the track but Hilary admits she felt "really intimidated" by Ed because she felt so much pressure to do the song justice.
She added to MTV News: "He vocally produced it and came in the booth with me. I was really intimidated because, normally, they don't do that, so I kept looking up and being like, 'You're Ed Sheeran and I'm singing the song that you wrote and I want to do right by it.'
"It was awesome and then he, in like 15 minutes, did all the low stuff and the harmonies and the background. He just musically has to put in no effort it seems; it's just him."
