Emmerdale's Danny Miller hit with online threats
Danny Miller has been forced to call the police after he received online abuse from an identified woman following his recent return to 'Emmerdale'.
'Emmerdale's Danny Miller has been left fearing for his life after he was bombarded with online threats.
The 23-year-old actor - who has recently rejoined the ITV soap as Aaron Livesy after leaving in 2012 - has reportedly called the police after he received vicious hate mail on Twitter from an unidentified stalker.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It has shaken him up. He fears for his life. It carried on for a while after he left 'Emmerdale' but then it stopped and he really thought it was finally all over.
"Almost as soon as he went back on screen as Aaron it started up again as bad as ever."
The heartthrob - who has played the gay character since 2008 - enlisted the help of Greater Manchester Police (GMP) four years ago when the stalker set up 200 fake Twitter accounts to send the abuse from.
However, Danny hopes this time the police will be able to put a stop to the threats permanently.
The source added: "He is back in touch with the police and he really hopes they can put an end to it."
Meanwhile, the hunk admitted last year he was upset by how the police had handled the scary situation in the past and felt they hadn't put enough effort in.
He said at the time: "I'm so gutted how GMP have treated the case. I'm sure they will take notice when someone is fighting for their life."
