'EastEnders' star Jacqueline Jossa has revealed her character Lauren Branning will find love with Peter Beale.

The brunette beauty has let slip that her character is to embark on a relationship with her former love interest, played by Ben Hardy, despite her currently being involved with Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) on the BBC One soap.

Speaking at the TV Choice Awards at the London Hilton on Park Lane last night (08.09.14), she told BANG Showbiz: "There's actually quite nice happy stuff coming up for Lauren. She'll be finding love that's kind of been there all along and she's just been the only one that didn't know."

The 21-year-old actress - who is pregnant with her first child with her 'The Only Way Is Essex' star boyfriend Dan Osborne - confessed she's looking forward to her character enjoying some happier times in the coming months.

She explained: "I've been waiting for it for ages because it's been building up and building up and you've just seen glimpses and they've been best friends and were young love anyway so it's quite cute to go back to that.

"I think it's nice. Me and Ben really get on so it's been exciting to work together."

Quizzed on whether her character would be following in her footsteps by having a baby as well, she added: "I don't know. Maybe. It would be cool!"

Jacqueline also admitted she was worried her pregnancy would prevent her from being involved in the upcoming 30th anniversary of 'EastEnders'.

She said: "I am going to be there, luckily. That was one of the main things I was really worried about. I was like, 'Ooh perfect timing, child'. Seriously."
