Mark Wright expects his friends in Essex to "rip him" for his 'Strictly Come Dancing' outfits.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star has revealed that his glittery dance costumes will be mocked by his friends back home.
Talking to BANG Showbiz at the 'Strictly Come Dancing' press launch on Tuesday (02.09.14), Mark explained: "I'm not expecting and I'm genuinely not expecting to be amazing because I've never done it before. So if I get negative comments, I suppose, well I'm expecting, if I get good comments, I'll be really, really happy because it will be a bit of a shock. But the Essex boys are going to rip me from the start. That's a given."
The BBC One show is famous for its skimpy outfits and glittery designs, but despite his initial reservations, the 27-year-old television personality admitted that he was actually enjoying the sparkles.
He shared: "At first, it was like, one of the things I'm dreading but since I've had it on and I said to them, 'Keep it as little glitter as you can.' Since I've had it on, I've been like, 'Just add a bit more glitter here'. And I'm sort of getting into the swing of it."
His girlfriend, Michelle Keegan - who up until recently used to play Tina McIntyre on 'Coronation Street' - has yet to see Mark in his new get-up as he added: "She'll probably just say, 'Embrace it, enjoy it.' Or probably laugh at me."
