James 'Arg' Argent urged to stop partying
James 'Arg' Argent's family and friends have reportedly begged 'The Only Way Is Essex' star to take a break from partying following his missing persons fiasco this weekend.
James 'Arg' Argent has been urged to take a break from partying.
'The Only Way Is Essex' star sparked a missing persons search on the weekend when he failed to meet his agent at Gatwick airport in West Sussex because he'd travelled to Stansted airport in Essex instead.
The reality TV star was supposed to be flying to Blackpool for a public appearance at a nightclub but was unable to get in touch with anyone because the battery on his phone had died, and it's now been revealed his family and friends are worried his confusion was caused by burning the candle at both ends.
They're said to have staged an intervention for the reality TV star recently, begging him to take it easy for his own good.
A close friend told The Sun newspaper: "Everyone wants what is best for Arg and they are worried that his recent airport mix-up was the result of his crazy partying.
"They're concerned he was in a daze on Friday morning and didn't realise he was being taken in the wrong direction. They have asked him to look after himself."
The 26-year-old star took to his Twitter account on Saturday (30.08.14) to apologise for the worry he'd caused, saying: "Hi I'm so sorry to have worried everyone. I'm fine and safe but can't apologise enough x (sic)."
Meanwhile, the TOWIE funny man - whose on-off girlfriend Lydia Bright is said to have been present at the intervention - is reportedly being escorted to all of his personal appearances from now on, to prevent incidents like this from happening again.
A source told the newspaper: "He's not allowed to go to PAs without someone looking after him now."
