Billy Idol will release his first album in almost a decade in October.
The iconic rocker has announced plans to release his new record, 'Kings and Queens of the Underground', on October 20 - nine years after 2005's 'Devil's Playground'.
Billy has also unveiled his comeback single 'Can't Break Me Down', which is available to stream on www.billyidol.net immediately.
The album was largely produced by Trevor Horn while Greg Kurstin contributed on two songs.
The cover art was designed by street artist and graphic designer Shepard Fairey.
'Kings and Queens of the Underground' will be released through Billy's own record label, BFI Records, and comes almost a decade after his last album release.
Billy is no stranger to large gaps between records as 2005's 'Devil's Playground' itself was released 12 years following the release of 1993's 'Cyberpunk'.
The 58-year-old star's last studio collection, meanwhile, was an offering of Christmas songs in 2006.
Billy will support his new album with a European tour which will kick off in November and see him perform in Britain, Germany and Italy.
The rocker is also due to release his autobiography - 'Dancing with Myself' - in October.
