The Wombats

So what do we know about Wolverhampton? It’s the 13th biggest city in England, was home to Britain’s first set of traffic lights in 1927 and was the site of the first ever vehicle to set the world land speed record. More importantly, perhaps, it has spawned this full-on four-piece, who have toured with everyone from Babyshambles and Editors to Jack Penate and Supergrass of late, parading their Verve-ish guitar histrionics. Here’s one more chance to see the band’s dynamics up close while you can.

Barfly, Glasgow, Wed 20 Feb.

The Lines, The Ghosties, We Throw Stones and The Dials

Wolverhampton headliners, supported by Ayrshire indie pop/rock trio The Ghosties and Edinburgh rock'n'roll trio The Dials.
