'Coronation Street' star Catherine Tyldesley - who plays Eva Price in the soap - has revealed she is pregnant, and she and her partner Tom Pitfield as due to become parents in March.
Catherine Tyldesley is pregnant and says it "feels 100 per cent right".
The 'Coronation Street' star has revealed the happy news that she and her partner Tom Pitfield are expecting their first child together, and she is excited but calm about what lies ahead.
She told Hello! magazine: "It's like everything has gone fast forward, but it's not remotely scary.
"It just feels 100 per cent right, which is very different for me because I am the world's most indecisive person.
"I will ask everybody's opinion on everything, whereas I am totally sure about this ... I feel strongly being a mother is someting I am supposed to do."
However, the whirlwind romance has still been a surprised to Catherine, who admitted she never saw it coming.
She said: "If you'd told me that before my next birthday I would meet someone as amazing as Tom, the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, and we were going to be planning for our first baby, I wouldn't have believed you in a million years."
However, the star - who is due to give birth in March 2015 - quickly knew her man was "The One" for her.
She added: "People say when you meet the right man you know. I never believed it.
"I thought, 'You need to know someone'. But after three months I knew he was absolutely the one. It's the most amazing feeling.
