Ray Quinn is desperate for a role in 'Coronation Street'.
The 'Dancing on Ice' winner is friends with Hayley Tamaddon, who plays Andrea Beckett on the ITV soap, and he used to help her run through scripts when they were on the 'Dancing on Ice' tour together.
Hayley said: "Ray is dying for a part on 'Corrie' - he absolutely loves it. We always used to chat about it and he'd help me learn my lines."
As well as her friendship with Ray, Hayley is also close pals with her 'Corrie' co-star Sue Cleaver, who plays Eileen Grimshaw.
She told Closer magazine: "Sue Cleaver is a riot. You should be in her back garden with us after she's cooked dinner and we're sharing a bottle of wine - it's a scream.
"I love her. She's ace and dead funny. We're planning to go on holiday together."
There's turmoil ahead on the cobbles as Hayley's character, who has been dating Lloyd Mullaney (Craig Charles), will be revealed to be married.
The actress has defended her character's actions, saying: "I don't think she's a bad person. I just think she's lied so much now that it's completely out of control.
"It's spiralled out of control because what started off as a bit of fun has now turned into her being madly in love."
