Sam Attwater bonds with fiancee on Dancing on Ice
Sam Attwater claims 'Dancing on Ice: All Stars' is the only time he gets to spend with his fiancee, Vicky Ogden, who is his professional partner on the show
Sam Attwater says competing on 'Dancing on Ice: All Stars' is the only time he gets to spend with his fiancee.
The former 'EastEnders' actor is partnered with his lover, professional skater Vicky Ogden, on the skating show and he hopes to stay in the competition for as long as possible or their hectic schedules will mean they won't get to be together much.
Sam - who is also starring in a touring production of 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers' - said: "If I wasn't in the show and Vicky was skating with someone else, we wouldn't see each other ... until we get married our schedules are so hectic.
"That's why, whenever there is a chance of us being booted out of the show, my heart skips a beat. I won't have any time with her."
And despite rowing on the show, Sam insists he couldn't be happier than to be skating with Vicky.
He added: "To be skating with Vicky is unbelievable. Without sounding cheesy, I'm having such a great time doing it and it makes the busy schedule worthwhile. This is what Vicky does for a living and to get more of an insight into what she does is amazing.
"Our VT showed us bickering after training but we've only bickered four or five times and they showed it all in one VT!
"It's been an absolute joy. If it was dreadful I'd be quite happy to go home."
