Sir Ben Kingsley has been cast in 'A Night at the Museum 3'.
The 68-year-old actor is in talks to portray the Egyptian pharaoh who is on display in the British museum - which is located in London - and is later revived by a magical tablet, according to Deadline.com.
The 'Iron Man 3' star is set to feature alongside Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, Rebel Wilson and Ricky Gervais in the family-friendly comedy sequel.
Shawn Levy is directing, while Thomas Lennon has written the script and Robert Ben Garant and David Guion and Michael Handelman are producing for Fox.
The original 'Night at the Museum', released in 2006, was based on the 1993 children's book of the same name and set in the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
The sequel, released in 2009, took place in Washington DC's Smithsonian Institute.
'Night at the Museum 3' is being lined up for a Christmas 2014 release.
