Chris Pratt was nervous about starring in 'Guardians of the Galaxy'.

The 34-year-old actor is set to play the lead role of Peter Quill - otherwise known as the Star-Lord - in the new Marvel sci-fi blockbuster, and despite his excitement he was concerned about the "pressure" of taking on such a big part.

He told Britain's Esquire magazine: "I'm nervous. There's more pressure on me. I'm in good hands, I'm excited. The outfit was amazing. I had this leather jacket. Oh boy. It was so much fun to wear."

Chris has been busy working on his new film 'Delivery Man' in which he plays a single dad who tells the truth abut the pains of parenting.

The Hollywood hunk has 16-month-old son Jack with his wife Anna Faris and can relate to some of the feelings he explores in the forthcoming film.

He added: "It was an opportunity to say terrible things about your children in front of them, but in a way that doesn't threaten them or make them feel [you don't] love them. The British do that, taking the piss out of each other. I like that. Also, it was an opportunity to gain weight."
