Jorgie Porter in tears after Hollyoaks exit
Jorgie Porter was reduced to tears after she finished shooting her final 'Hollyoaks' scenes and her co-stars showered her with gifts
Jorgie Porter was reduced to tears after filming her 'Hollyoaks' exit.
The 25-year-old actress - who plays blonde bombshell Theresa McQueen in the Channel 4 soap - couldn't fight back the emotion as her cast-mates showered her with gifts and gave her a standing ovation as she wrapped up her final scene.
Jorgie has bowed out of the soap after five years in order to compete in the new series of 'Dancing on Ice' next year, which will be an all-star special of past contestants after she took part in the programme in 2012.
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Jorgie is a massive personality on set, everyone loves her and we are so sad to see her go. But we know she will be brilliant in 'Dancing On Ice' and whatever she does next."
It is believed feisty mother-of-one Theresa will be forced to leave the Cheshire village after the consequences of murdering Calvin Valentine (Ricky Whittle) back in 2010 catch up with her, but bosses are adamant she won't be killed off.
Executive producer Bryan Kirkwood said: "Jorgie is a beautiful, sexy and delightful presence on and off-screen - a real talent. But Theresa has got away with murder for many years, so it is time for her to face the consequences."
