Sam Bailey's husband has lined up a pile of ironing for her to do as a welcome home present.
Craig Pearson - who has two children, Brooke, eight, and four-year-old Tommy with the brunette star - has been left doing all the housework while the 'X Factor' winner was taking part in the competition, but he has saved some chores for the singing sensation upon her return to Leicester, central England.
Speaking to the Leicester Mercury newspaper, he joked: "We always share the chores but I have been doing the lot while she was away winning the X Factor.
"I have done some of the ironing but I'm leaving half of it for Sam. It's only fair!"
But there was no sign of any ironing last night (17.12.13) when Sam performed at the home of her favourite football team, Leicester City.
The 36-year-old singer sang two tracks at half-time in The Foxes' Capital One Cup quarter-final fixture against Premiership side Manchester City, who won the game 3-1, at the King Power Stadium.
She said: "I loved every minute of it! I have been so excited all day. It was a real honour to perform for the crowd and the team. Leicester is my home and it's fantastic to be back and supporting the lads."
Several Leicester City players have shown support to season ticket holder Sam in person throughout the competition including David Nugent, Kasper Schmeichel, Andy King and Paul Konchesky.
