Rochelle Humes to freshen up Loose Women?
The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes is being lined up to freshen up 'Loose Women' and stall the show's falling ratings as bosses try to make it appeal to a younger audience.
Rochelle Humes is expected to spearhead a group of younger 'Loose Women' hosts.
The Saturdays singer is amongst those being lined up to appear on the daytime panel show to improve ratings, with Denise van Outen and Angela Griffin also said to be in talks.
An insider told the Sun on Sunday newspaper: "ITV bosses aren't impressed with the sliding viewing figures so bringing in younger, more diverse hosts is a gamble.
"They need to get some younger viewers watching the show and having someone like Rochelle - who a more youthful audience with recognise - would be a shrewd move.
"They have been told that if this latest throw of the dice doesn't work then the show might not have a future."
The shake-up follows the departures of the likes of Carol McGiffin and Denise Welch, and it is said ITV's director of daytime programmes Helen Warner is keen to limit the remaining panelists' time.
The contracts of Sally Lindsay, Janet Street Porter and Linda Robson are all said to be changing to reduce their appearances on the show.
