Rod Jones, Honeyblood and There Will Be Fireworks confirmed for Slowfest 2013

Idlewild's Rod Jones, 'crunch pop' duo Honeyblood and indie post-rockers There Will Be Fireworks are among the acts confirmed for Slowfest 2013. The festival, which will take place at Glasgow's Bar Bloc from Mon 16–Wed 18 Dec, gives Scottish bands and artists an opportunity to strip back their material to the bare essentials and play unique intimate performances to an appreciative audience. Frightened Rabbit, Twilight Sad and RM Hubbert are among the artists who have got involved in the past, and with several more acts to be announced, there's space for some pleasant surprises yet. Have a listen to each of the acts below for a (plugged in) taster of what's in store.
