Cheryl Cole is to make a guest appearance on 'Coronation Street'.
The 30-year-old pop star will grace the Rovers Return pub on December 20 as part of a Text Santa special edition in a bid to raise money for its six chosen charities.
The former Girls Aloud singer will arrive in Weatherfield looking for her childhood friend, barmaid Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan), as she hopes to lure her back to Newcastle for her mother's Christmas party, but things don't go according to plan for the Geordie babe.
Cheryl said: "It ['Coronation Street'] has always been part of my life, we'd all watch it as kids every night. It's surreal to be part of something I've watched my whole life. It's great to be able to support six wonderful charities and I really hope that this year's appeal makes a difference to many lives."
Appearing in the sketch with the brunette beauty will be the backstreet boozer's owners Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh), as well as Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment), and Tina.
Text Santa will also include an exclusive performance by Robbie Williams and a number of heart-felt true stories from UK charities, including Age UK, Barnardo's, BeatBullying, British Heart Foundation, Clic Sargent and Help the Hospices.
Ant and Dec, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, and Christine Bleakley and Paddy McGuinness will present the fundraising event on Friday December 20 at 8pm on ITV.
