Rebecca Adlington to face first solo Bushtucker Trial
Rebecca Adlington will finally face her first solo Bushtucker Trial on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' tonight (29.11.13) after being forced to miss several challenges due to unknown medical reasons
Rebecca Adlington will face her first solo Bushtucker Trial on tonight's (29.11.13) 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.
The Olympic swimmer has come under fire for being unable to take part in a number of trials on the ITV show due to unknown medical reasons, but 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here NOW!' co-host Joe Swash revealed last night (28.11.13) she will compete in the 'Drown Under' challenge, which was not voted for by the public.
The 24-year-old star will aim to win meals for camp by trying to move 10 stars from one end of a maze to the other while in a tank filling up with water.
Rebecca will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of her fellow campmate Lucy Pargeter after the 'Emmerdale' actress won 10 stars out of a possible 12 in the latest trial, 'Limo Scream', in which she had to search for stars in a stretch limousine while being inundated with gruesome jungle creatures.
Lucy returned to camp looking dejected in order to pretend she didn't do very well in the trial, but when she returned Matthew Wright was trying to lead a silent protest in an attempt to get the show's producers to open the canopy - which protects the camp from heavy rainfall - so they could sit in the shade.
The brunette actress began telling her story but Matthew interrupted, saying: "We thought we'd sit here in complete silence until the canopy comes down."
However, Kian Egan was keen to hear how she had done in her trial and asked her, much to Matthew's disappointment.
The 'Wright Stuff' host snapped: "That's solidarity brother, that's what happened with industrial relations in this country, scabs like you."
Kian continued talking to Lucy, and Matthew blasted: "Oh scab! I didn't even want the canopy down, I'm only doing it for everyone else, I thought we were going to make some kind of stand and then every three seconds you are undermining it."
But the Westlife singer hit back: "You are the only person who wants to do it! Lucy has just come back from the trial we should listen to her speak! Let her talk about it. Your attitude is unnecessary."
Alfonso also slammed Matthew, adding: "Every day we look forward to that person going out and coming back and having all of us support them when they came back in. Lucy didn't have us support her when she came back in and that is not acceptable.
"You will tear this camp apart if that continues to happen. Kian was trying to do it and he was shut down and became a scab because he was giving her her moment. There are places of shade and places for people to go."
