Ariana Grande's stage costumes were bought from a sex shop.

'The Way' singer claims she isn't afraid to experiment with fashion but was shocked to learn the elaborate outfits she wore during her concerts were originally intended for kinky S&M sessions.

The 20-year-old singer claims she found out by "accident" after she stumbled across the sexy shop while trying to find an outfit for Halloween.

She told the Mirror newspaper: "Brigitte, my stylist, always turns up with her arms full of cool outfits, I don't even know where she gets them from.

"Once we were shopping for Halloween costumes with a friend of mine and we accidentally ended up in a sex shop. The girl who was working there was like, 'Oh, I make your costumes!' I was like, 'What?' and she said, 'Yes, this is where Brigitte gets your outfits from!'"

Ariana - who is dating The Wanted's Nathan Sykes - admits that despite the initial shock, she actually doesn't mind wearing the kinky outfits during her performances

She added: "There were S&M clothes hanging from the rails and everything. But I can't complain because the dresses look really good on stage."

Meanwhile the brunette-beauty made her American Music Awards debut on Sunday night (24.11.13) where she sang 'Tattooed Heart' before picking up the New Artist Of The Year award.
