David McCall to host new Winter Olympics show
Former 'Big Brother' presenter Davina McCall will host a prime-time "nerve-shattering" show for Channel 4.
Davina McCall will host a Winter Olympics-themed celebrity show for Channel 4.
'The Jump' will see 12 fearless stars take part in nightly "nerve-shattering and dangerous" winter sports, and the former 'Big Brother' presenter, who also hosts game show 'The Million Pound Drop' on the channel, is looking forward to her new role.
Davina said: "'The Jump' is going to be amazing - the scenery, the challenge and the sheer grit needed to compete will make it gripping viewing!"
The famous faces taking part in the series are expected to be announced soon.
Broadcast live from a mountainside in Europe, the show will take place over 10 nights in early 2014.
Contestants will be trained by expert coaches and Olympians for the challenges, which include skiing, bobsleigh, skeleton, slalom and ski jumping.
Earlier this year, Davina ruled out ever appearing on 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! because she "physically could not do" the ITV reality show.
