Ant and Dec are set to embark on a 'Saturday Night Takeaway' live tour, which will hit even arenas around the UK and Northern Ireland, next year.
Ant and Dec are set to embark on a 'Saturday Night Takeaway' live tour in 2014.
The funny duo will present a new version of the popular TV show at eleven arenas around the UK and Northern Ireland, featuring appearances from special guests and an opportunity for the audience to win spectacular prizes.
Ant said: "'Takeaway' is the one show that people always tell us they'd love to be in the audience for, so we've decided to take the show to them! It's not the actual TV show, it's basically what we do on 'Saturday Night Takeaway' - live. A big kind of live event version of the television show so all your favourite elements of the show - our favourite elements and the viewer's favourite elements of the show will be in there. It will be an arena style version of the show."
Ant and Dec - real names Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donelly - are keen to involve members of the audience during their performances, and have a few tricks up their sleeves ready for a couple of surprises.
Ant explained: "We want to try and make it very interactive. We've got members of the production team on the tour as well so before we get to each city somebody will arrive there before hand and get lots of information on all the audience members. We'll tailor each show to each city that we're at."
Dec added: "They're going to be a real significant part in this... so each show will be completely different. We are hugely excited and can't wait to get on the road."
