Nicole Scherzinger banned from eating sausage at X Factor

Nicole Scherzinger has been banned from eating her favourite sausage rolls at 'The X Factor' studios.
The 35-year-old singer was sent hundreds of the calorific treats by Greggs the bakers after she developed a penchant for the pastry snacks while filming part of the show in one of the company's outlets with her act Hannah Barrett, who works for the food chain.
But 'X Factor' bosses stopped her from tucking into the delicacies because gifts of hot food are not allowed to be eaten on their north London premises due to health and safety rules, resulting in them being destroyed.
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Nicole and one of the cameramen really wanted to tuck in but the sausage rolls were binned. It's health and safety gone mad. You shouldn't deny a girl a bit of sausage, what harm could it have done?
"There were dozens of them and they looked irresistible to everyone but the people who gave the order [had] to have [them] destroyed."
However, it wasn't all doom and gloom for the brunette stunner's appetite as she was allowed to indulge in a selection of doughnuts sent by Greggs instead.
An 'X Factor' source said: "We did have a sausage roll delivery but it's a mystery where it ended up.
"However Greggs did give us doughnuts which everyone loved."
