Amelia Lily would've had 'naff life' without X Factor
Amelia Lily admits her life would have been "pretty naff" just going from job to job if she had never appear on 'The X Factor'
Amelia Lily would have a "pretty naff" life if she had never been on 'The X Factor'.
The 19-year-old singer shot to fame when she finished third on the ITV talent show in 2011 and she hasn't looked back since, but admits had she never taken the plunge on the programme then she would simply be doing a "day-to-day job" rather than having a huge career mapped out.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'd just be in college and going to a day-to-day job trying to earn myself some money - pretty naff compared to what I'm doing!"
The blonde beauty admits she would have loved to have Sharon Osbourne as her mentor on 'The X Factor' if she had her time on the show again this year, and believes the no-nonsense judge has brought a burst of "fun" back with her on the panel.
She added: "I think she's great because everyone knows her, it's nice to have a familiar face back. She's great fun on the panel with a great burst of energy.
"She seems like great fun and has a really positive vibe."
However, Amelia admits she wouldn't have enjoyed the new 'X Factor' chairs twist - which was branded "cruel" by viewers for allowing the judges to swap their final six contestants at the last minute - if she was on the show this year because it was "stressful" for hopefuls.
She explained: "I think it's pretty harsh, it's a great way to get the audience on the edge of their seats but for the contestants it's really stressful and you must have to have a lot of strength to get through - it's good for the TV show though I guess."
Amelia has recently been firing up her time portal and experimenting with a futuristic fashion shoot to celebrate the release of 'The Sims 3 Into The Future', which is available for download at http://www.ea.com/uk/the-sims-3-into-the-future.
