Charley Webb insists she is "really great friends" with her former fiance Matthew Wolfenden, amid allegations he cheated on her.
The 'Emmerdale' actress insists she has no problem with her 33-year-old co-star - who she split from in August and has three-year-old son Buster with - despite fan Klaire Holloway claiming last weekend she previously bedded the soap star after he flirted with her at a family barbecue.
Charley - who plays Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap - said: "Me and Matthew are great friends. I know what the truth is and I know people who were there. There are a lot of witnesses.
"Matthew is Buster's dad and we're both really great friends."
The 25-year-old brunette also admitted she is "very proud" of her brother Jamie Lomas - who plays Jake Stone in 'EastEnders' - for "remaining quiet" following allegations his wife Kym Lomas cheated on him with her 'Coronation Street' co-star Oliver Mellor.
Speaking at the Inside Soap Awards at London nightspot Ministry of Sound on Monday night (21.10.13), Charley added: "We're very close and at the end of the day he's fine and he's got his dignity and that is all that matters. He's remained quiet and I'm very proud of him.
"We've both been in the business for a long time."
