Laura Mvula leads the nominations for the Urban Music Awards 2013.
The British born singer-songwriter has been nominated by fans for Best Newcomer, Best Female Act and Artist of The Year for the 11th annual European Urban Music Awards, set to take place in London.
The 27-year-old soul singer joins a host of other nominees including Tinie Tempah, Bruno Mars, Kanye West and Naughty Boy.
Urban Music Awards founder Jordan Kensington said: "It has been a brilliant year for urban music in Europe. We have an eclectic list of nominees who are consistently breaking new boundaries and quickly becoming household names not just in the UK but also within Europe, America and Asia".
Rising Producer Naughty Boy is up for Best Producer, Best Collaboration and Best Music Video for the track 'La, La, La' - one of the biggest selling singles of the year - featuring Sam Smith.
Past UMA winner Tinie Tempah has been nominated for Best HipHop Act, Best Single, Best Music Video and Best Collaboration for his 2013 comeback single 'Trampoline' featuring US artist, 2Chainz.
Performers up against Laura Mvula for Artist of the Year include Rudimental, Wiley and last year's UMA 2012 breakthrough artist, Fuse ODG.
The show - sponsored by technology company Zuricom - is taking place on November 22 and will be televised live on Sky channel 191. Fans can cast their votes for their favourite artists now at urbanmusicawards.net
