Michelle Keegan feared Wright proposal was a joke
Michelle Keegan thought her fiance Mark Wright was joking when he got down on one knee before asking her to marry him.
Michelle Keegan thought new fiancé Mark Wright was joking when he got down on one knee.
The 'Coronation Street' actress, who got engaged in Dubai last month, admits she is "so in love" with the former 'The Only Way is Essex' star and insists the romantic moment when the 26-year-old hunk popped the question was her "dream proposal".
She said: "We went down to the beach and he was stalling for ages, taking a picture of the hotel, taking a picture of the view.
"I said, 'It's getting really hot and humid now - can we move on?' He said, 'I want to take a picture of you walking on ahead along the beach.' Then I saw the flash, turned around and he was down on one knee."
Michelle asked Mark what he was doing before bursting into tears when she realised he was being serious.
Mark - who had kept the ring hidden in a safe in the couple's hotel room before the big moment - said: "I didn't know love could feel this good. It didn't take me long to realise Michelle is everything I wanted."
The 26-year-old stunner - who plays beautiful barmaid Tina McIntyre in 'Corrie' - confirmed the couple are planning to move in together, but admits they won't have time to get married until 2015 because of their busy schedules.
She added to HELLO! magazine: "We want to live together first and enjoy being engaged and having a house together.
"We haven't set a date, but we know it's not going to be next year as there is so much going on with me leaving 'Corrie' and us moving in together. So we are thinking 2015."
