Lily Allen to present own TV show

  • 9 November 2007

Outspoken singer Lily Allen has landed her own BBC Three show in which the entire audience will consist of the pop star’s online friends.

The 22-year-old, who launched her career via the online networking site MySpace, will also meet celebrity guests and introduce unsigned acts.

Chosen by the audience, up and coming bands will have their progress charted on their own online network.

The Smile singer, who has recently been named the new face of upmarket underwear label Agent Provocateur, said she was excited about the prospect.

‘It’s something I intend to have lots of fun with and I have some great ideas.’

The series is expected to kick off early next year.
