Gary Barlow admits his fellow 'X Factor' judge Nicole Scherzinger pulls his head into her chest "a lot", and joked she is "full-on" and "completely crazy"

Gary Barlow admits Nicole Scherzinger pulls his head into her chest "a lot".

The 42-year-old star - who has been married to his wife Dawn for 13 years - enjoys a flirty relationship with his fellow 'X Factor' judge, who recently split from her Formula 1 driver boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, and joked she is "completely crazy".

He said: "She does that a lot! You know what, I think she knows she is safe with me. I'm a happily married man. But she is full-on. She is completely crazy. She really is."

Gary and Nicole are joined by Louis Walsh and returning star Sharon Osbourne on the 'X Factor' panel, and he thinks the 'Talk' co-host has had a "positive effect" on the show.

He explained: "She is great. These things are difficult because you bring someone new in and it changes the vibe of the show.

"But it has had a positive effect on everybody and, for the first time, I'm looking forward to the live shows. It will be competitive but in a nicer way than before."

Gary admits show bosses used to tell him what to say on the programme when he started out in 2011, but nowadays he prefers to think of his own witty comments.

He added to The Sun newspaper: "When I started, even though I had been on TV a lot, I had never really been on TV in this way before. But I have got used to it. I am comfortable now.

"When we first started we were all given scripts and things to say. Now I just wander on and come up with stuff on the spot."
