Tickets for Ricky Gervais' first musical show as David Brent have sold out in less than 60 seconds.
The 52-year-old comedian is playing two gigs in his 'David Brent & Foregone Conclusion Live - A Work In Progress' tour at London's Bloomsbury Theatre later this month where he will be playing as his character from hit TV series 'The Office'.
Ricky was quick to take to Twitter following the speedy sale, writing: "OK, so apparently, the Brent tickets sold out in under a minute. How is that even possible? Sorry."
But the comedian has kept some tickets back to give fans the chance to win them in competitions.
He added: "Luckily, I held back a few pairs of tickets for various competitions for fans. There's still hope :) (sic)"
Ricky also hinted there is the possibility of more tickets being made available depending on how the first two performances go.
When asked whether there will be any more tickets, he replied: "Let's see how these gigs go :) (sic)"
David made his latest comeback on video sharing site YouTube in a programme titled 'Learn Guitar with David Brent' following his initial debut a decade ago on the popular comedy show.
