Sol Heras wants to star in 'Downton Abbey'.
The 25-year-old actor - who played heartthrob Ryan Connor in 'Coronation Street' - has his eye on appearing in the acclaimed period drama because he wants to gain more experience in the acting industry before going on to break Hollywood.
Speaking to NOW magazine, he said: "I'd love to do some dramas - something like 'Downton Abbey' would be great.
"[Hollywood], that's the whole reason I started acting- you know, watching people on the big screen. That's my dream, but a lot of people leave soaps and go straight to Hollywood. I'm trying to be more realistic. I have to take the right steps to build a foundation for one day possibly doing movies."
However, the hunky star is adamant he'll never venture into reality shows because he's not the kind of person to reveal his personality to the world.
He explained: "Categorically no [I'd never do a reality show]! I got offered one, but turned it down. I won't go down that route no matter what my situation is. It's just not my cup of tea."
