MTV is to launch their new reality TV show 'Beauty School Copouts.'
The programme will give eight appearance-obsessed contestants the chance to win a once in a lifetime opportunity to kick start their careers in the beauty industry, while learning a number of key skills - waxing, shaving and tattooing - and practicing on real-life customers in a plush salon in Manchester, north England.
The over-the-top characters include drag queen Calvin who is obsessed with pop star Beyoncé and hopes his new-found skills will help to pass on the "drag legacy", Daniel - known as Protein Boy - who is a gym fanatic and has a phobia of fat people, and club doorman Richard, who worships his body, claiming it is a temple, and thinks working in a salon will help him land a hot lady.
The female competitors include bar maid Sacha, who has high hopes of becoming a celebrity make-up artist, self-confessed Barbie Savannah, who has her make-up tattooed on, and dancer Scarlett, who has been fake tanning since she was just 14 years old.
'Beauty School Copouts' will air at 10pm on October 29 on MTV.
