'EastEnders' star Shane Richie wants to do a duet with his co-star Jessie Wallace.
The 49-year-old actor - who plays pub landlord Alfie Moon in the BBC One soap - wants to collaborate with his on-screen ex-wife Kat Moon (Jessie) in the name of charity as he believes they could imitate former 'Neighbours' stars Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan's 1988 hit 'Especially for You'.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he said: "Jessie is a brilliant singer. I am trying to get her and I doing something for Children in Need. We could do a duet. Can you imagine if it was like 'Especially for You'. Oh dear."
The 41-year-old actress is no stranger to belting out lyrics in front of an audience as she took to the stage two months ago to perform a duet with her boyfriend Tim Arnold at the launch of his new single 'Ain't Made To Measure' at the Soho Sanctum Hotel in London.
An onlooker previously said: "She was really nervous so got off to a slightly shaky start but once she gained confidence, she began belting it out as if she was the new Martine McCutcheon!"
Meanwhile, Shane has gained success in a range of musicals - including 'Boogie Nights' and 'Grease' - as well as releasing two albums.
He was also rumoured to be lined up as the warm-up act for Michael Jackson's concerts at The O2 in London before the gigs were cancelled following his tragic death in 2009.
