Jack Whitehall to give Andrew Flintoff acting role
Jack Whitehall is to give his 'League of Their Own' co-star Andrew Flintoff a role in his BBC Three sitcom 'Bad Education', but joked he won't let him have a part in the programme until he starts saying the title right.
Jack Whitehall is refusing to give Andrew Flintoff a part in 'Bad Education' until he gets the title right.
The 25-year-old creator of the BBC Three sitcom - in which he plays young teacher Alfie Wickers - has hinted he will give his 'League of Their Own' co-star a role in the show, but joked he is going to put the former England cricketer through a really tough audition and make him "feel like s**t".
He said: "I want to keep stringing him along before I submit. And the reason I won't is because he keeps getting the title wrong.
"He always says, 'Will you put me in that Bad Teachers?' and I say, 'I'll put you in it when you get its f***ing name right!'
"And I'd put him through a really stringent audition and make him feel like s**t."
Jack is also set to cast his old drama teacher in the popular series, but admitted he is going to give him a "s**t" role in 'Bad Education' as payback for being landed with poor parts to play during his school days.
He added to The Sun newspaper: "My old drama teacher is going to be an extra because my mum met him and he said he really wanted to do it.
"Because he didn't cast me in any good parts at school, I've given him a really s**t part, right at the back of shot, on screen for about a second. Let's see how he likes it!"
