Coronation Street's Kylie Platt is to become more "feisty".
The brunette beauty, who is played by Paula Lane, will resort to a more aggressive side as she deals with the breakdown of her and husband David's (Jack P. Shepherd) marriage after giving birth to daughter Lily.
Paula has warned fans to expect some "huge" scenes in the coming weeks when they finally find out whether Lily's father is David or his brother Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) after the bistro boss slept with Kylie at Christmas.
She told BANG Showbiz: "It's been going on for ages and it's going to keep going. The writers just keep squeezing more and more out of it. I'm thrilled.
"Kylie is going to sort of take over the Platts a little bit but it comes from a motherly point of view so you will see a lot more feistiness, but the same amount of vulnerability.
"The marriage with David is on the rocks at the minute so there are some great scenes coming up, obviously the reveal. It's going to be huge."
While Paula enjoys acting out dramatic scenes, she would like to see Kylie and David back together in the future.
She added: "It would be nice if Kylie and David were happy but I do still think there is some drama to come in terms of the marriage. I would like to see them get back together in the long term.
"It'll be very interesting to see what's she's like without him because the viewers have seen her with him for a couple of years now. And when they did first get together she was obviously a bit wild."
