Abbey Clancy worried about looking an idiot on Strictly
Abbey Clancy is concerned she will "look an idiot" on BBC One's 'Strictly Come Dancing'
Abbey Clancy is worried about looking like "an idiot" on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 27-year-old star - who is currently rehearsing for the first live show which will air on BBC One on September 27 - is excited about showing off her new moves on the dance floor with her professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec but is concerned it may turn out to be a disaster.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "I've got the 'Strictly' bug and want to do it. But I don't want to look an idiot."
The blonde beauty is up against 14 other contestants in the dance contest and while she started off well in rehearsals, she has since struggled to master the steps.
After the first day of rehearsals, Aljaz joked: "Abbey was doing really good until the last four hours. But tomorrow is a new day and we're excited to come back. It's a beautiful studio."
However, Abbey is enjoying her time practicing and was delighted when her footballer husband Peter Crouch and their two-year-old daughter Sophia paid her a visit during rehearsals.
She tweeted: "Had such a great time today at rehearsals the lovely @AljazSkorjanec dancing with my Sophia and doing the robot for Peter x (sic)"
Abbey is currently a 12/1 outsider with 888sport.com to win the competition, while former 'Coronation Street' star Natalie Gumede is the 5/2 favourite followed by 'Hollyoaks' hunk Ashley Taylor-Dawson, who is 7/2 second favourite.
