Olivia Hallinan is keen to star in a 'Sugar Rush' reunion after shooting to fame in the Channel 4 drama series, but admits she would only do the programme again if it "felt right" to revisit the story.
Olivia Hallinan wants a 'Sugar Rush' reunion.
The 29-year-old beauty is keen to reprise her role as lesbian teenager Kim in a follow up to the first two series - which centred around her alter-ego's strong feelings for best friend Sugar (Lenora Crichlow) and ran from 2005 to 2006 - but only if it "felt right" to revisit the story.
Speaking at the launch of the new Baileys Chocolat Luxe drink in Covent Garden, central London, last night (10.09.13), she exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I would be well up for a 'Sugar Rush' reunion. But only if it felt right, some of these shows come back and it doesn't really work.
"It would be great to do it again though and interesting to see what all the characters are doing.
"I'm still in touch with Lenora, yeah. She's doing so well. She's in LA at the moment."
While Olivia has gone on to star in several shows including period drama 'Lark Rise to Candleford' and most recently comedy series 'Chickens' alongside 'Inbetweeners' actors Simon Bird and Joe Thomas following her 'Sugar Rush' success, she is keen to break America.
She added: "I never feel that I'm doing that well. I'd love to star in a big movie but it's always the big names they want like Carey Mulligan because they attract audiences.
"I loved starring in 'Chickens'. Simon and Joe were great to work with."
The flame-haired stunner sampled the new Baileys Chocolat Luxe drink at the beverage's launch, which also featured DJ sets by Pixie Geldof and Gizzi Erskine.
