'Catchphrase' host Stephen Mulhern has confirmed David Walliams is to appear on the ITV game show's second series.
David Walliams is to appear on 'Catchphrase'.
Stephen Mulhern, the ITV game show's host, has confirmed the 'Britain's Got Talent' judge has signed up for the second series of the programme and he can't wait to see how the 'Little Britain' star is going to get on.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I can tell you that David Walliams is going to be on the new series of 'Catchphrase'.
"It's amazing that after the first series goes well that everybody then seems to go, 'Oh, maybe I'll do it now.' So we've got some good names lined up."
While Stephen is keen for 'This Morning' co-host Ruth Langsford to also appear on the show, he doesn't think former 'Only Way is Essex' beauty Amy Childs would be able to grasp the programme's concept.
He added: "Ruth Langsford has to be on it at some point, she is like the pioneer of Twitter 'Catchphrase'. I'll have to get her on it.
"Amy Childs? Well, they've still got to know how the game works and I've only got 20 minutes to explain it so that could be hard.
"We've only done one celeb but Rosemary Shrager certainly filled that slot. Very well."
