Miley Cyrus has collaborated with Britney Spears for a track on 'Bangerz.'

The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker took to Twitter to unveil the tracklist of her fourth studio album which revealed she teamed up with the pop princess for a track for the title track.

She tweeted: "SMS (BANGERZ) feat. It's ******* bitch", before adding: "It's @britneyspears BITCH #bangerz".

Miley, 20, looks up to Britney, 31, and previously admitted her controversial performance at the MTV Video Music Awards - which saw her gyrating up against Robin Thicke while suggestively posing with a foam finger - was so she could go down in history like Britney and Madonna when they kissed on stage at the same awards 10 years previously.

Earlier in the year Britney reached out to Miley to ask her to teach her to "twerk", a dance move which involves a person shaking, wobbling and bouncing their hips and butt up and down, and features in the former Disney star's video for 'We Can't Stop'.

She tweeted: "Loving your new video for #WeCantStop @MileyCyrus! Maybe you can teach me how to twerk sometime LOL ;) xo (sic)"

Miley re-tweeted the blonde beauty's request, and later posted: "All I see is LOVE. (sic)"

'BANGERZ' is the follow up to 2010's 'Can't Be Tamed.'
