'X Factor' wannabe Tamera Foster feels "ashamed" about taking drugs.
The 16-year-old hopeful has apologised to fans after it was revealed she had smoked marijuana with the Class A narcotic PCP -- which can cause hallucinations - and has vowed to be a better role model to her supporters.
She said: "I'm very ashamed of the drug use.
"I do really want to be a good role model for my fans.
"I'm upset and ashamed by my actions and realise how stupid I was. I never meant to encourage or endorse the use of drugs."
The brunette beauty has also apologised following revelations she previously assaulted Holly Wilks and a friend, but she blamed the drugs for her behaviour.
She added to The Sun newspaper: "If I saw Holly I would apologise and make it clear I am remorseful.
"I am really sorry for what happened. I lashed out when I shouldn't have. It was a really stupid move.
"I do think the marijuana I took could have contributed to my behaviour.
"I was in a bad place when that happened and I'm in such a better place now.
"The police being involved made me realise it was serious what happened. I was stupid.
"I'm not a violent person. The police weren't called to the scene. Their involvement came a few months after the incident. I'm not sure what sparked that, but I got a phone call from the police asking for an interview."
