Gary Barlow's X Factor tears

Gary Barlow got teary while filming scenes for 'The X Factor' this year.
The judge's heartstrings were tugged during the early rounds of this year's competition where people auditioned in the more intimate setting of a room facing the judges, rather than a live arena.
Fellow judge Louis Walsh said: "Gary got a bit teary once or twice."
Gary explained: "It's hard not to. Especially in the [audition] rooms. The thing we've noticed this time is when it's in front of an arena, it's very much a show, but when you're in the rooms, its literally one person, four judges and 100 cameramen ... It's very intimate and makes you more emotional when they're singing and you can see how they are fighting for their lives. You get swept along with that."
Gary also defends how after the show many of the winners quickly flop and only ever make one hit album, before being dropped and lapsing into obscurity.
He added: "Obviously after this competition is over, they go off to [Sony] and we don't have any control over that and I think the point is neither do Sony. Where they choose to go and how they make a career after that is kind of up to them really. I know this show is heavily based on s helping and mentoring, but people really are in control of their own destiny."
