Jack P Shepherd and his fiancée Lauren Shippey have shelved their wedding.
The 'Coronation Street' actor and his high school sweetheart - with whom he has four-year-old daughter Nyla - have decided to push back their nuptials after a two-year engagement because they are expecting their second child.
When asked if they will marry soon, he told OK! magazine: "No, because the baby's coming and we have a drama school, 13 Performing Arts School - I teach drama, believe it or not, to kids every Saturday.
"We're so busy, which is why the wedding's been shelved. We probably won't get married until we've had all of our children now."
It could be a while before the couple officially tie the knot as the hands-on father says he wants lots of kids.
Jack - famed for his role as David Platt in the ITV soap - joked: " I want four...or 10!
"All I know since having Nyla is how to plait hair and play with Barbies and I love it! I want lots more kids."
Meanwhile, Lauren - who is six months pregnant - revealed she had extra scans after doctors realised their unborn child was "a bit small" but overall her pregnancy has been smooth sailing.
She explained: "They do think the baby's a bit small, so I have to have extra scans - that's because Nyla was small and we're only hobbit-sized ourselves so we're not going to have a giant!"
