'Coronation Street's Georgia May Foote wants her character to "go off the rails."
The 22-year-old actress - who plays teen mum Katy Armstrong in the ITV soap - was delighted to be given her own storyline earlier this year, which saw her alter-ego embark on an affair with bad boy Ryan Connor (Sol Heras), shortly after having her son with Chesney Brown (Sam Aston).
However, the brunette beauty can't wait for Katy's pal Steph Britton (Tisha Merry) to step on to the Cobbles in a few weeks because she can experiment with a more wild side to her character as the pair of them "will be getting up to lots of mischief".
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: "It's been so lovely to have my own storyline that didn't involve Chesney. The writers made Katy much feistier. I've tried to play on that. She is an Armstrong girl after all.
"They need to shake up Katy and Ches so that they are single parents, it'll be very interesting. I'd like Katy to go off the rails because I've never played a character like that."
Georgia - who has been nominated for the Sexiest Female gong at the Inside Soap Awards - admits she doesn't see herself as sexy, but is enjoying seeing Katy dress-up in a more revealing way.
She explained: "Katy tried to be sexy and people have started saying she is. She's been getting dressed up loads but she's not quite there yet."
