Dominic Power used to hint at Emmerdale axings
Dominic Power used to tease his 'Emmerdale' co-stars that his serial killer alter-ego was going to become friends with him, suggesting they could be next to be killed off.
Dominic Power used to jokingly hint to his 'Emmerdale' co-stars they were going to get killed off next.
The actor plays serial killer Cameron Murray in the ITV soap and before his alter-ego murdered Gennie Sharma (Sian Reese-Williams) he used to have great fun pretending to his fellow actors that they were going to be his next victim.
Dominic said: "Before I found out that Gennie was going to be Cam's next victim, there were a few funny moments when I would tease the other actors.
"I would say, 'Oh, I hear our characters are going to be friends and have quite a few scenes together.' They were all quite panicked!"
Dominic admits his real-life mother has not been a great fan of his alter-ego since he started having affairs, but she is even more disapproving since he has killed Alex Moss (Kurtis Stacey), Carl King (Tom Lister) and now Gennie.
He added to Inside Soap magazine: "My mum watches and she doesn't like me killing people.
"She didn't like it when Cameron was having affairs, but murder is even worse!"
