Martine McCutcheon is set to take over the radio waves as a presenter on Heart FM.
The former 'EastEnders' star and singer is moving from the small screen - where she has recently starred as Debbie Moffett in 'Midsomer Murders' - to stand in for Emma Bunton as host of 'The Saturday Show' at the radio station for the next two weeks.
She said: "I'm so excited to be joining Heart. I'm a genuine fan and listener of the station, so I'm really proud to be part of the team. I can't wait to get behind the mic, play some great tunes and a have a good laugh with the Heart audience."
Martine originally rose to prominence as Tiffany Mitchell on BBC soap 'EastEnders', appearing between 1995 and 1998. She then went on to have a successful pop career, scoring a UK number one single with 'Perfect Moment' and selling 800,000 copies of her debut album.
After releasing her third album in 2002, Martine concentrated on her film career, appearing in international smash 'Love Actually' in 2003, 'The English Harem' in 2005 and 2007's 'Jump!' where she starred opposite Patrick Swayze.
Global Radio's Director of Broadcasting Richard Park said: "Over the last year, Heart has introduced some of the UK's biggest celebrities to radio and it is testament to the strength of the brand that we can attract personalities of Martine's calibre.
"I know her great sense of humour and fun personality will be a hit with our listeners."
Martine McCutcheon will appear on Heart's The Saturday Show on August 17 and 24 from 5pm to 7pm, available across the UK on 96-107 FM, digital and online at heart.co.uk
