Emmerdale's Charley Webb wants a "small" wedding when she ties the knot with her fiance Matthew Wolfenden
Emmerdale's Charley Webb wants a "small " wedding.
The 25-year-old actress - who is best known as Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap - has been engaged to co-star Matthew Wolfenden - who plays David Metcalfe - for three years but admits she has no plans to tie the knot just yet, but when she does, she would prefer an intimate ceremony.
Speaking to Soaplife magazine, she said: "We're both busy and have a three year old, so it isn't at the top of our agenda. If we do get married, I want a small ceremony. I hate the idea of walking down the aisle with everyone looking at me."
The brunette beauty credits Matthew for being an amazing father to their son, Buster, and would one day like to provide their offspring with a sibling to play with.
She explained: "He's [David's] a very hands on dad. I'm really lucky as the parenting is very much split 50-50 with us."
She added: "I want more, but I have no idea when that will be. My best friend has four. They're amazing and they all play together. "
Matthew previously said he'd like to start planning for another child soon and preferably before they walk down the aisle because he wants their little ones running around the venue on their special day.
He said previously: "We definitely want to start planning for another, so that might end up coming first, before a wedding. It'd be great to have children involved in the day- I could see Buster running riot."
