Marvin and Rochelle Humes land TV deal
Marvin and Rochelle Humes have reportedly held talks with ITV bosses about co-hosting a chat show.
Marvin and Rochelle Humes are to front a chat show together.
The showbiz couple - who have two-month-old daughter Alaia-Mai - have reportedly held a string of meetings with ITV bosses who see them as a "perfect pairing" following a successful screen test and will now be given a trial run standing in for 'This Morning' hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
And TV executives think the couple could be as successful as husband-and-wife duo Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan, who previously hosted 'This Morning', 'Richard & Judy' and 'Richard and Judy's New Position' before ending their presenting partnership in 2009.
A source said: "The TV world has been missing a husband and wife presenting duo since Richard and Judy left the scene four years ago.
"Marvin and Rochelle are seen as the perfect pairing. There's a hope they will be popular with viewers because of their obvious chemistry and ability to take the mickey out of each other.
"They're a very good looking couple and have both been very successful. But in the end they are completely down to earth and focused on family life."
While Marvin's group JLS will split after a farewell tour this year, Rochelle is still committed to The Saturdays, though insiders predict she will put working with her husband first if they prove popular with viewers.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Rochelle would love to find a way for her and Marvin not to be separated for long periods because of work.
"A regular TV show would obviously provide that opportunity, but the reality is that in the end it could also lead to The Saturdays going their separate ways."
