Apprentice star Luisa Zissman to front baking show
Luisa Zissman is planning to become a "sexy Mary Berry" by whipping up sweet treats in the kitchen on her very own cooking programme
'The Apprentice' runner-up Luisa Zissman will host her own baking show.
The self-described "business Barbie" - who runs several baking companies - has landed the unlikely gig of fronting her own cooking programme in a bid to become a "sexy Mary Berry" after losing out on the £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar in the finale.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Baking shows are big business. At the moment most of them are fairly homely and safe. There aren't any sexy hosts - and Luisa could fill that gap.
"She's definitely got a lot of sex appeal and if blokes had a choice of tuning in to watch her or Mary Berry, I know who most would choose."
The former glamour model was known for her no-nonsense approach on the BBC One competition, so has fittingly suggested the name 'Bitch and Bake'.
Luisa wants to invite celebrity guests to appear on the show with her each week, with who she can gossip while they whip up culinary treats in the kitchen.
The 26-year-old entrepreneur has already set up talks with Food Network UK and is determined to make a success of her new venture.
The insider added: "She went to an event hosted by Food Network on Tuesday and was overheard having a chat with the senior guys there. They seemed really up for the idea."
Luisa lost out to Leah Totton in 'The Apprentice' final last week when Lord Sugar chose to invest in Leah's medical cosmetic clinics plan rather than Luisa's idea of a wholesale firm catering to the baking market.
