The Apprentice's Francesca backs Karren Brady to replace Lord Sugar

'The Apprentice' contestant Francesca MacDuff-Varley thinks Karren Brady should replace Lord Alan Sugar.
The dance studio entrepreneur - who was fired by Lord Sugar during last week's semi-final episode - believes the show could live on should the businessman ever quit and has recommended his aide, Karren, as a possible replacement for the boardroom boss.
She said: "I think that Lord Sugar is really integral to it, but I think someone on that same level as him could actually do it. 'The Apprentice' is an amazing programme in its own right. It would be very hard to replace him, but who knows ... I think the obvious choice to step in would be Karren Brady.
"She's been there all along, she's successful, she runs businesses and she's a fierce lady. Karren stepping up would be great, but I don't think she'd do that out of respect for Lord Sugar."
Karren joined the business reality show in 2010 as one of Lord Sugar's aides - alongside Nick Hewer - after Margaret Mountford decided to quit the show.
Business owner Luisa Zissman and doctor Leah Totton will battle it out to win a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar in the final of 'The Apprentice' tonight (17.07.13).
