Sophie Kasaei gets Geordie Shore axe
Sophie Kasaei has reportedly been axed from 'Geordie Shore' after she was allegedly recorded saying she hates "n*****s"
Sophie Kasaei has reportedly been axed from 'Geordie Shore'.
The blonde star is at the centre of a racism storm after it was claimed she was caught on camera allegedly saying she hates "n*****s", and as a result she was initially barred from the MTV reality show pending an investigation, but has now been kicked off the programme.
An MTV spokesman said: "After an incident last week, Sophie Kasaei was removed from 'Geordie Shore' pending further investigation into alleged offensive behaviour.
"MTV and Lime Pictures have now taken the decision that it is inappropriate for Sophie to return to the show.
"We will be reiterating to the remaining cast members that offensive behaviour will not be tolerated."
Following the decision, Sophie is said to be "devastated" about getting booted off the show.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Apparently Sophie was caught using the n-word.
"The show bosses were made aware of what she is alleged to have said and they kicked her off the programme. She is devastated."
The alleged incident comes shortly after Sophie's co-stars Vicky Pattinson and Holly Hagan were arrested on suspicion of assault earlier this month.
However, both Vicky and Holly deny any wrongdoing.
