Lawson's Andy Brown wants to be the new judge on 'The Voice'.

The 25-year-old singer believes he would be the perfect replacement for Jessie J - who announced that she is quitting her role as a mentor on the BBC One show last week to focus on her solo career - as he's got loads of experience under his belt and could pass on his music knowledge to up-and-coming artists.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, he said: "I'd be absolutely delighted. I think it's a brilliant show.

"Not only do I watch 'The Voice' but I obviously have an interest in that sort of thing, because I've been singing, writing songs and playing guitar since I was a kid.

"Anything I can do to help up-and-coming musicians is great. If I was approached I'd love it."

Emeli Sandé, Paloma Faith and Rita Ora have all be rumoured to take the 'Price Tag' hitmaker's place.

However, BBC bosses could find themselves having to find an entirely new judging panel after Will.i.am recently revealed he would quit if just one of the original four judges - who also include Danny O'Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones - were to leave.
